These sum up all our efforts to fulfill God’s desire to see all peoples of every nation (outside Lagos State but within the shores of Nigeria) coming to bow down and crown Jesus as the Lord. See below the various locations of our external mission works:

a.            Maitama Baptist Church, Federal Capital Territory, Abuja – This is a cosmopolitan Church planted in the heart of our nation’s capital territory. The vision is to reach out to the various nationals, locals and expatriates living and working in the city and by extension, spread the aroma of the knowledge of Christ to the whole world.

b.            Niger/Kebbi Mission Field – Ikoyi Baptist Church missions’ activities in the Niger/Kebbi Mission Field date back to the year 1998 when the Church adopted the field as her External Mission efforts. There are two main locations namely, Rijau (Dukawa-land) and Uregi (Kamuku-land), both in Niger State. The Mission Field is located within Niger/Kebbi Baptist Conference. The WMU sponsored the mission work in Rijau while the MMU was responsible for Uregi. But in the recent years the two Missionary Organizations have handed the Mission Field over to the Church to take full responsibility. However, the two bodies are still involved in some projects on the Mission Field. For instance, the WMU is currently sponsoring the construction of a 12-Room Guest House and a Clinic in Rijau while the MMU is also financing the construction of a Health Centre at Uregi.

Presently in Rijau, there are fourteen (14) established Churches and four Schools currently funded by IBC. The construction of the fifth school is ongoing courtesy of the Grace Ministry, of the  Church.

c.             Nasarawa/Benue Mission Field: This is a Mission Partnership with the United Baptist Conference of the Nigerian Baptist Convention. IBC started by providing financial support for the payment of salaries of seven Pastors with the reconstruction of their Church worship sanctuary destroyed during the political/religious crisis in Nasarawa State and part of Benue State a few years ago. However, IBC has fully adopted the two States as her Mission Fields for both urban and rural Church Planting.

d.            Sokoto Mission Field: This Mission initiative came in response to the Macedonia call by Alheri Baptist Church, Sokoto for a joint effort for Church Planting among the natives and other Hausa Speaking people in the seat of Caliphate. Up until now, the three Baptist Churches and several other Churches in Sokoto are either English Speaking or Yoruba Speaking Churches.
