Adekunle Emmanuel Oyeniyi has a specific call from God to “raise true worshippers and facilitate true worship in spirit and in truth”. He graduated with a Bachelor of Church Music (B.CM) from the Nigerian Baptist Theological Seminary, Ogbomosho in 1999, where he was a recipient of two awards (Overall Best Graduating Music Student and Best Piano student). He later bagged a Master of Arts (M.A) degree in Ethnomusicology from The University of Sheffield, United Kingdom in 2014. In his quest to be well positioned for 21st Century Leadership, he enrolled and earned certificates in Management Skills and Organizational Development in 2008 at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University, Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
Before his resumption as Minister of Music, Ikoyi Baptist Church, he was Minister of Music and Worship at The Agape Community Baptist Church, Surulere, Lagos (1999-2004) and The Divine Grace Baptist Church, Port Harcourt (2004-2013).
As an exuberant, highly creative and seasoned worship leader, he has authored a book titled Worship Leaders Exposed, and presently working on his second book titled Experiencing Awesome Atmosphere in Worship. Pastor Oyeniyi enjoys spending quality time alone with God in worship. He believes that the Music Ministry is the only ministry that would remain till eternity. He is happily married to Abimbola and the union is blessed with three daughters (Sharon, Shalom and Shammah).
